Full Moon Reflection Prompts

On Wednesday, February 12th, the Full Moon in Leo encourages bold action and the willingness to change the status quo. Give yourself 15 minutes with these prompts as you engage with this week's wild energy.

Use these three writing prompts in order...

1. This full moon illuminates the areas in life that have been feeling stuck. But, sometimes, due to routines and the pace of life, we don't realize how fixed and rigid we've become. Set a timer for 5 minutes and write about stuckness/rigidity/or feeling set in place - how it feels, where you feel it, what associations you make with it, or anything else that arises. â€‹

2. Every full moon gives us the opportunity to refine and let go of something so we can realign with our intentions. Reflect on the past two weeks since the new moon in January. What path have you been taking, knowingly or unknowingly? Is it the one you want to continue down or do you want to make an adjustment? Either way, write or think about what you'd like to develop within the next two weeks of this moon cycle. â€‹â€‹

3. The moon in Leo is in tension with the planet Uranus that wants to shake everything up and reveal genuineness. Take another 5 minutes and write about the following: how does the thought of change make you feel? What part of you could be shown/celebrated/appreciated if you allowed something to change?

4. Use this affirmation for the next two weeks.

On this Full Moon in Leo, I will loosen my grip and welcome in change so I can be fully myself. â€‹

Fear is often our immediate response to uncertainty. There's nothing wrong with experiencing fear. The key is not to get stuck in it.
